How It Started
Back in 2015, our founder spent three weeks walking the Pape dunes alone. She noticed something: the space itself was healing. Wild. Untouched. Real. But it was hard to access if you weren't already fit or experienced in nature walking.
That's when she realized there's a whole group of people — pensioners, older adults, anyone seeking gentler outdoor experiences — who'd treasure these trails if we made them accessible. We weren't trying to change the reserve. We wanted to help people understand it.

Trail Curation
We've mapped over 40 distinct walking routes, from 2km gentle loops to 8km immersive journeys. Each route is graded for difficulty and tested with real walkers across age groups.

We're not interested in overcrowding the reserve with tours. We're selective. We work with groups of 8-12 people max. We turn down bookings if we sense the ecosystem needs rest. We've watched some companies maximize profit at the expense of conservation — that's not who we are. We've chosen differently because the reserve matters more than any single season's revenue.
